Eugene Otchere

Eugene graduated from the Trinitas School of Nursing in 2007. After graduation, he started off his healthcare career as medical/surgical registered nurse and became a clinical coordinator for a 36 bed unit. He later changed specialties and became a hemodialysis registered nurse and would later become a clinical coordinator for Davita Dialysis. In 2015, Eugene would attain his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ohio University. Looking to hone his skills even further, Eugene would join Trinitas Regional Medical Center and work in the intensive care unit. As a registered nurse, he managed acutely ill patients post MI, stroke, and a slew of other medical conditions. After his tenure in intensive care, Eugene joined the inpatient behavioral health team at Trinitas. There, he learned to manage a number of psychiatric conditions, initiate therapies to alleviate symptoms, and educate patients and their families to manage their conditions in an outpatient setting.

With the increased need of psychiatric providers, Eugene would attain his Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in behavioral health Magna cum laude in 2021. Eugene is affiliated with RWJBH health care system and has experience with working with individuals suffering from substance use and psychiatric disorders.
