Carissa has over 6 years of mental health nursing experience caring for patients across the lifespan with a multitude of social, emotional, and mental health needs. She earned her Bachelors of Science degree from Rutgers University and completed her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Working in various mental health settings, including inpatient and outpatient psychiatry in the Northern New Jersey area has afforded her the opportunity to encounter a multitude of demographic groups and therapy models.
Carissa brings to ABC a humanistic philosophy of holistic care for both mind and body, and an abiding commitment to individualized, personalized, comprehensive care for those she serves.
